The Human Potential Academy (HPA) is a global pioneer within the fields of Coach training and human potential development. Their vision is to empower and equip millions of people worldwide to realise their unlimited potential.

Why I love it: This was a really comprehensive coaching course that covered both the foundational elements of coaching, but also lots of extra things boost your coaching practice. Why I love it: Full discolsure, I haveb’t done anything with Interactualizer, but the head coach/trainer at Human Potential Academy when I studied there, Rod Francis, left to start this school and he is a wonderful coach and trainer. I highly recommend him as a teacher.

The Beautiful You Coaching Academy provides life coach training and coaching services that aim to inspire you to live your best life.

Why I love it: This was a great introductory coaching training that got me started with coaching. It’s a bit less onerous than some of the full ICF path coaching qualifications, yet still comprehensive. It has wonderful trainers and Julie Parker who runs it very knowledgeable and in integrity. Feminine lead, heart centred.

A training and development organisation providing courses, workshops and resources on creating meaningful lives, work and workplaces.

Why I love it: Excellent, interactive, research based training and content on meaningful work and living. I use a lot of their theory in my work today. Also super lovely people.

DUBSADO SETUP COURSE + MORE

An online program to set up Dubsado, use automated workflows to save time, and improve client experience—finally create space to grow your business.

Why I love it: Dubsado can be a bit of a beast and isn’t easy to set up if you don’t know what you’re doing. This program holds your hand through this and helps you get it done. Charlotte is also amazing and totally lovely.

Why I love it: This course demystifies would could be a very complicated process if you were trying to figure it out on your own.

MIC

Why I love it: This is a great entry level mic to begin your podcasting or vide journey. I’ve had mine since 2015 and it’s still going strong! Ability to change the setting depending on whether you’re recording solo, with one other guest or need to pick up sound from a whole room.

BREATHWORK WORKSHOPS

During Owaken Breathwork events, individuals are guided into non-ordinary state of consciousness to access parts of themselves that usually function outside of daily awareness. Simply using breath.

Why I love it: Breathwork is an incredible way to do exactly what the description says above. I’ve had some incredible experiences being guided by Helle and Lukis over the years. It’s can be a pretty full on experience though. So be ready.

PSYCHOLOGY

Therapy and couples counselling online and in person in inner Melbourne.

Why I love it: Just because you have a coach, doesn’t mean you don’t need therapy. And the two can work magically hand in hand. The folks here are incredibly committed to high standards in psychology and client experience. Plus their digs are gorgeous.

LEARNING COMMUNITY

Ness Labs provides content, coaching, courses and community to help makers put their minds at work. Apply evidence-based strategies to your daily life, discover the latest in neuroscience research, and connect with fellow mindful makers.

Why I love it: Great, research based content. Interesting training and workshops and a lovely community of personal development and mindful productivity nerds like me.

BATH HOUSE

Sense Of Self is a wellness space for the modern being. There is bathing and sauna for those who want to get soaked, massage and spa treatments to give tired bodies some serious love, programs to go deeper, and plenty of space to take some time out.

Why I love it: I’m a massive fan of hot bathing and saunas after living in Japan and doing the onsen thing. SOS is a totally lush bathing experience in Melbourne in a beautiful space.

DOULA + MATRESCENCE SUPPORT

The Listening Mama exists to provide trauma sensitive maternal care where you are held with dignity and your resilience is honoured.

Why I love: Dusk is an incredible space holder and supported me as my doula through my pregnancy and birth. She has the most amazing energy and really supported me, more than any other care provider, during that time. Her matrescence work is also extremely powerful and helped me make the transition to motherhood.
